we're back -- may 19, 2016!
Welcome to Pokemon Rewind! We might look familiar, and that's because we've been around before! If you're new here, we're a non-canon Pokemon roleplay set in the Kanto region! The only this is, all of the Pokemon we know today are here! The time's have changed a bit, but it's the same old Kanto you remember, for the most part! Team Rocket are still running rampant but the Rangers are here to try and stop them! Trainers challenge the gyms and even Coordinators have made their way over with the ever popular Showcases! We require very little of our members, so join right in!
There was a lot going on in one of the admin's lives and there was a lot of stress placed on them to keep the site running. When we hit a dry spell, said admin took the chance they had and completely shut the site down, hoping that would alleviate some of the stress. Now, with a lot of the stress gone, we're back and better than ever!
Some of ya'll may remember that we used to offer Breeders as a trainer class for your character. In order to keep things fair, and to not make things seem unfair to non-breeders, we totally eliminated the class. If you would like to breed your Pokemon, pay a visit to the daycare couple! One of them will raise your Pokemons' levels for a cost, while the other will breed two of your Pokemon for a cost!
Silph Co. used to run things around here, using the Master Ball and the TM's to lure trainers into the traps. In order to keep things simple, Silph Co. is no longer incorporated into the plot. The TM's and HM's are now sold in the shops for a range of prices. If you're willing to save for the Master Ball, there's a few in there too!
HM's now no longer need to be bought and learned by a pokemon to be used outside of battle. Pokemon capable of surfing are allowed to do so without the move surf, strong Pokemon can move boulders, etc. However, if you would like to use these moves in battle, they need to be paid for and on the Pokemon's move list.
The trainer class perks have also changed a bit! Trainers still get their 50% off on non TM/HM purchases while Coordinators have the opposite. Rangers and Rocket members get to pick two of of six randomly generated Pokemon. All the classes have a few other perks as well, so be sure to check that out!
There's a few sweet things running around right now so you can get some pretty neat things! We have an Advertising Contest running for the rest of the month, as well as a Moderator Hunt! We're looking for two moderators to do a few things around the site to help us out a bit! On top of those, there's a nifty opening promo running for the rest of the month! Head over there to pick up some pretty awesome prizes!
