NPC Request

Those of you looking for Staff to NPC a Wild encounter, or perhaps a Gym Leader battle; you have come to the right place! Simply post below with a link to your thread, as well as a general description of what you need. This description can be as brief as stating "Wild", or "Gym". Just give a little insight, and if you want something a little more specific or plot-driving then let us know. Say you fancy that specific Gym Leader and want a little more interaction than normal, but not TOO much? We can try to help you with that.


Simply put, these threads are for fun and the most common among NPC Requests. You have nothing to gain but levels for your Pokemon, or perhaps a new Pokemon to add to your team. As always, these Pokemon are random, though if you have a preference for a specific Pokemon (or even specific types), then make note of that in your post(s) below when requesting such an NPC. That is NOT to say they will be spawned, but that we will take it into consideration. A type preference has a higher chance of being acknowledged than a preferred pokemon. Also, do not ask for rare/uncommon pokemon.

Lastly, keep in mind that you get a maximum of three (3) pokemon spawned for any wild thread that you submit. Players are also limited to one (1) Wild Encounter thread at a time per character.


These take a bit more time, but because of that Staff can (at their own discretion) allow more than a simple battle to take place. This means you can have a little more interaction with these characters, especially if you fancy one over the others and what the battle we NPC to reflect just that.

As for Pokemon League Champions, we will be less lenient with the plot-side of things, and more vigilant on the battling aspect of the threads. These individuals are extremely battle-hardened, and unless you prove yourself to them, they likely won't be very sociable. Lots of people try to waste their time, after all.


There will always be bad guys. Who specifically you want to tangle with is your own business, but Staff will not normally provide you with NPCs in this regard, though it is not impossible. These instances are typically heavily plot-related, and simply wanting a battle is not enough to warrant this kind of NPC whatsoever. We encourage players that simply wish to battle the "bad guys" to seek out member-made Team Rocket members. Apologies, but this is a temporary stance we've taken as Staff to encourage more interaction between our members. NPCing takes effort, but most of all time away from our own plots, etc. Not to mention plotting is just simply accomplished better with the help of actual PCs, rather than NPCs.

Generally speaking, most Team Rocket NPCs on POKEMON REWIND will be predominantly used during Events. Whether they are Site-Wide or Mini-Events does not matter, as it is at the discretion of Staff to implement these NPCs.
